FJ55 rear window rubber

I am going to need to take out my FJ55 rear windows so that I remove the headliner. What are my options for window ruber? I thought I have heard of people using a universal or other application seal. Thanks.

You can modify ws rubber to work for the rear windows - not cheap ... but get it done.

I used stock 55 windshield rubbers :::cut to fit.
looks like new

Industrial super glue
the same spec as what the factory used

Very nice work.

Any particular rationale for placing the cuts near two corners, instead of in the middles of the long runs, or one cut at each corner?

No criticizing, just curious.

To relive stress on the w/strip so it wont pull appart .
they fit real tight to the body/glass.
just sitting around looking at the hole in the body and puting the new rubber up and pulling on it from all angles , just kinda made sense

There is a guy on Pirate "PVCruiser" who says he is doing all of the weatherstripping and fenders for the FJ55's. He said his tailgate, and rear window seals are only months away.
