Up for sale is a 1981 HJ47 LHD Troopy. (VIN: HJ470000261) I had originally bought this vehicle for my wife and was going to return it to its stock ride height and make it more family friendly. After only having it for a couple of months and taking my wife for a few rides she decided that something with more doors would work a lot better for getting kids in and out. So I need to sell this rig to make room in my garage for a FJ45LV—hopefully I will find one. This Troopy originated out of Panama and is a good solid rig and one of the few LHD around. It has the preferred 2H Diesel that runs really well and comes with a new set of injectors as spare parts. It currently has the axles setup Sprung over making it ride a little hard. I have owned this vehicle for about five months and only driven it in town. I have a lot of photos that I can email out to show that the body does not have any cancer—it’s not a show truck but a good solid example of a Troopy. It only has two out of the four rear bench seats and does not have a head liner. I would say that the current tires are in fair condition. It needs new rubber for all the doors. I am not an expert about these vehicles—but I will try and answer any questions that you might have. The truck is currently in Bend, OR and I am living in Laramie, WY. I am going to be heading to Bend on Oct 15 and would gladly meet with anyone interested in seeing the truck. If someone is willing to put down a deposit and lives in the WY/CO area I would be willing to transport the Troopy back to Laramie. I am planning on moving to Bend, OR permanently within the next few months so I do not want to transport the rig back and forth several times---so please be serious about the vehicle is you want me to bring it back to WY. I am asking $13,500.00 or Best Offer. I would also consider a 1964 FJ45LV for a partial trade or more—must be in restorable condition or better.

If it happens to be in Wyoming anytime soon, I'd like to take a look and put my name in the hat.

Nice TOY-BUS, but how much miles have that engine?

The truck shows 143,107 KM--not sure if that is original or not. The Troopy has only been registered in SC and MT--it currently has a clear MT title. The top is removalbe on this Troopy.

Anyone wanting to see the Troopy In Bend OR

I will be in Bend OR from Oct. 15-20 if anyone would like to see the Troopy in Person. I will be checking my mail on the road so just send me a PM. If possible I would like to find a new home for the truck before Christmas. Thanks Scott

Any plans on it coming back to Wyoming? Before Christmas maybe?

I am slowly moving projects and parts to OR so I am not planning on dragging any of them back to WY as I hope to be living full time in OR at the start of this next year. So for now the Troopy will be in OR for anyone who wants to look at it in person.

Trade for a LWB pick-u?

I know it's not an LV, but have to ask anyway. Want to trade for a pick-up?
