UNO's New Pics

Well the truck has been buffed and is finally coming together. THe hood still needs to be buffed and painted on the inside. I've decided to black out the inside of the hood.

I need some assistance on the last two pics of the rear axel housing. You'll notice that the axel housing is entirely shifted to one direction. I tried flipping the springs but the problem still persists. Any suggestions on how to remedy.

I'm thinking that one side of the shackels could be to tight. Right now I'm at a loss. I thought it was fixed, but I was wrong.

It is very shiny! Almost too shiny. Apparently it was the type of paint used to make it shine like a large pimple on your arse.

Once I get it together and break it up with the roll cage, and black soft top, it will take away from the shine. This project has taken way longer and cost way more than I ever anticipated.

Hi All:

Ditto what "RockHugger" said.

Good luck!

Alan

Just remove the passenger spring ONLY, rotate 180* then reinstall. Don't do this to both sides just the pass side.

is that dupunt go-man-go paint i just did a harley that color?its real nice looking and it will dull with a little time and look even better.

It's hard to interpert what your saying here. Perhaps I should consult with my bong hitting friends to decode....I think I get what you're saying, however. ;)

Move your springs from front to back. One is backwards.

The paint job is real <cool> man. :grinpimp:

Anyone have suggestions on weather stripping on gaps that really don't line up? We had to modify the tailgate to fit on a 73 by cutting it. When we cut the tail gate it warped causing a small gap between the rear body pannel.

BTW the color is Mazda---"Blazing Copper Effect".

turning the spring should line it up but why is 1 shackle straight up and down and the other on an angle backwards are springs the same length good luck

I think that would be due to the fact that the springs are not the same length from pin to shackles, until one is flipped.

UNO, I was feeling, uh Mexican when I wrote that. Musta been drinking. I always think I'm funnier when drinking. Sorry!

Nice! I've got to get off my arse and post some pics.

Warning to everyone you'll need sunglasses for it too.
