OK, it has taken me well over a year of hemming and hawing to even motivate to post this. :crybaby:

Jim's hoarder thread along with another vehicle purchase in the last few weeks has kind of changed my perspective a bit. It doesn't make sense to have vehicles sitting around that could be used and enjoyed by other enthusiasts and I'm back up to 6 in the driveway / carport.

I am only posting this here (UC Club section) for now because I hope I am as lucky as JP and some of the other UC members and find a club member to buy one of my rigs and keep it around and local.

For Sale:

1997 80 Series. 166,xxx mikes. Black, brown leather interior. Purchased from another Mud / UC member in 11/03. CDL, no f/r lockers. Good shape, meticulously maintained with all records since I bought it. Running boards aren't currently mounted but are available with the sale. 3rd row seats included. Stock Michelin LTX's. Perfect for a nice DD, wouldn't take much to make a wheeling rig. $10,250.

EDIT: Added to vehicles for sale section: https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=138146

UPDATE: 80 is sold.

For Sale:

1998 100 Series. 135,xxx miles. Champagne, brown leather interior. Purchased from another Mud member in 11/05. CDL, rear locker, no front. Good shape, meticulously maintained with all records since I bought it. No running boards on it or available with sale. 3rd row seats included. 33.5" Nitto Terra Grappler AT's. OME 2.5" lift. After market stereo system. Some pin striping and a few dents / scrapes on the passenger side from Capt. Jim's driveway. Rear bumper and front bumper show signs of use. Nice DD, great wheeling rig. $13,750.

UPDATE: 100 is sold.

Let me know if there are any questions and thanks for looking.

Yep, not a problem. Was actually going to post some of them here too when I can go through my digital picture library.

Anything in particular your want to see? This 100 has been on many of the club outings recently and has pics scattered all over here too.

Figured I'd post a few quick pics of both the 100 and 80 before I hit the road for the weekend.

These are all shots taken on some kind of trip / outing. Read that to mean that both of these cruisers have been used - not abused - but used doing what they do best - having fun outside.

I can post pics of anything is someone has a specific request.

For the sake of clarification, the ARB front bumper does not come with the 97 80 series.

It currently has a stock front bumper.

my wife and i would like to see the 80. please e-mail me at dsa03cjj@gmail.com. thanks

E-mail being sent...

I am planning on listing locally in the next few weeks here. I know they'll sell locally but wanted to avoid it if possible.

Bump again in case there is a new potential buyer lurking...

OBO...

Bump for the New Year and all of the new members perusing these pages!! :D

Coupla really nice rigs there! Good luck with the sale.

Could you send me that e-mail again? i think that I deleted it. my wife saw the pics and likes the 80, but she is looking for something with better miles. i can understand, but she would love this 80. thanks . . . i'll be in touch later

Sure, let me know what you want to see.

If your wife wants an 80 but wants lower miles, I'd keep looking if I were you.

165K isn't really a lot for these trucks per se since their life expectancy should be well beyond that but there is really no need to compromise on your part.

There are TONS of 80's for sale and with time and patience you should be able to find exactly what you're looking for - miles, color, options, condition, price, maintenance history, etc.

OK, I listed the 80 for sale locally tonight. Not the 100 though. Baby steps here, one at a time. Don't want too much trauma at once. :D

Another 80 pic I came across from my first UC ride and when I first met lots of the gang:

If I get a new job and lose my company car I will buy your 100. May be a few months yet...

Cool, sounds good. It's a great truck. I took it on the 4, 5 and 6 loop at Tellico in August. What I am saying, you were there, you saw it!

Weird market here, when I list things locally, they go quick. My 80 will hit the paper / web tomorrow and I'll be surprised if it lasts more than a few weeks.

Sell it if you can, no worries.
