For Sale: 1997 FZJ80 in Charlotte, NC.
EDIT to add: I have a copy of the current Carfax I can send to anyone interested in this 80.
This has been an excellent vehicle for me, I can't say enough good things about it. I have owned it for 3.25 years and almost 40K miles. I really don't want to sell it but I need more room for my current vehicles and future purchases.
This 80 has always been regularly maintained at the dealer at all proper service intervals (and then some). I've had the tires rotated at every oil change. There are no current issues that I am aware of. It just passed North Carolina inspection and runs very well.
Things I've had done since I've owned this 80 (all at the dealer):
- Rear main seal leak repaired (rear main seal replaced)
- Upper and lower oil pan was resealed
- New alternator
- New battery
- New starter
- Power antenna replaced
- High beam bulbs replaced
- Fluids, brakes, tires, etc. all changed / monitored regularly
Details:
- 166,xxx mikes.
- Black exterior, brown leather interior.
- Normal wear on leather, some minor marks on bumpers. Pictures will detail.
- Purchased from another Mud / Upstate Cruisers member 11/03.
- No f/r lockers, only CDL.
- Running boards aren't currently mounted but are included.
- 3rd row seats aren't currently in the 80 but are included.
- Stock Michelin LTX's with plenty of tread left.
- Tow hitch.
- Perfect for a nice DD, wouldn't take much to make a wheeling rig.
