It looks like I might have to sell my FJ40 here soon because of some upcoming life changes (marriage, college etc) I havent listed it anywhere yet but I just wanted to let you guys know first if there is any interest in it.
Its a 76, I just cleaned it up and did a semi decent rattle can paint job. Just put in a new gas tank from cool cruisers. She is desmogged and passed Memphis inspection with flying colors. It runs like a top. I have a ton of extra parts that will go with it. Anyway, if anyone is interested send me a PM and I can give more details

Drive On Car Display Ramps
I haven't picked them up yet, but I'm going to be in posession of three sets of the drive on ramps like you see at car lots. These are the ones you drive on at an angle and then they "fall" to the flat position. My plan is to chop them down somewhat and use them for trailer ramps or similar. Could make a decent makeshift lift for fluid changes and undercarriage work if so inclined.
This is really more of a "feeler" to see if there's any interest since I don't really need all three and I'd like to get rid of one or two sets ASAP after pickup. The owner just really wanted to get rid of all three sets at once so he made me a good deal.
They're in good shape and the only catch is that the crossbars that connect the left and right ramps are missing. So you'd have to get some round tubing, maybe 1.5", or fab a permanent attached crossmember.

That would be kinda cool for oil changes redneck style. But, I think I'd rather just pony up for a more versatile two-post lift at that point.

Figured I would post here first and see if there are is any local 'mud interest.
1995 non-locked fzj80. 200k mi. $4k.
New battery, tires; @1yr ago: rubber intake pipe, plugs, plug wires, and Koyo radiator.
Radiator already leaks!
Engine runs good. Uses/leaks a little oil but runs smooth and makes good power.
Birfs don't make noise or weep goo.
Low range and center diff lock work well.
Front seats have wear and rips, rest of interior is good.

1965 FJ40 Project for sale - Memphis
I'm getting rid of my 1965 Fj40 project. It has a great drivetrain...original F with 40,000 miles....3 speed tranny. From the dash forward, it's a great truck...rusted out from there back. I have a 76 donor truck that goes with it...body is cut off. Frame has been blasted and coated, was about to start moving axles and drivetrain. Top on both trucks are good...liftgate on 65. I have new clutch line in package, new alternator, new full front floorpan in box, roll bar from another FJ40, and age appropriate jump seats (need upholstery). The 65 engine was running when we started cutting hoses for the engine move to the new frame.
Probably $2000 or more in parts.
I bought a 74 in better condition and need to unload this to get my paint job done.
$1200 gets it all.
