Confirmed: the 4Runner is about an inch wider and longer, and a few inches shorter.

In fact this isn’t a proven location. Other manufacturers have noted the extreme damage that can come from mounting at this location, and have thus designed their products to mount elsewhere (such as on the recovery points). This puts your product out of consideration.

Could you clarify whether your skid plate mounts at the original radiator support location, or if it attaches elsewhere - such as frame or recovery points? If it uses the radiator support, what reinforcements are in place to prevent damage to the radiator?

I have no interest in slide out trays, but sure do wish for barn doors.
