OEM Dash Replacement - Who's done it?

Following along as I'm in a similar boat. I won't have time to tackle this until late in the year, but I was thinking of buying an OEM dash as well before they start getting scarce.

    Jackstand recommendations, other tools?

Thanks for the replies, definitely looking into the ESCO stands.

    Jackstand recommendations, other tools?

Hi all, in my past life I did all autox and working on sportcompact cars. So my 2 ton jackstands won't cut it any more, and my long throw 3 ton jack is at its limit. Should I get a pair of 4 or 6 ton stands for upcoming suspension work? Any height limitations or minimums needed? Any jack...

Opinions on frame of 08 GX i’m looking at

Having grown up in Michigan myself, I know the hell winter is on trucks. I applied fluid film to my truck for this winter after bringing it up to CT from south carolina, and I was impressed with how well it held up. Woolwax black looked like a good option from Rednexus' thread too. I would...

    Rear bumper for my GX470

Do you want a tire carrier or a bumper, or a bumper with a tire carrier? There are lots of options out there.

    Strange radiator leak

Just to clarify things, the water pump is always running, its the thermostat that opens and closes to send coolant through the radiator circuit. So, it could be possible that things were still too cold to run through the radiator circuit?

    2003 GX470 my new project/ daily driver

The first part is not true. Height control on the GX simply adjusts the air pressure in the air springs. Only the rear is adjustable. The LX (and some LC) add a hydraulic control system to the mix and can adjust the overall height of the vehicle.

    ABS/BRAKE/ALL 3 VSC lights on.

Try this thread: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/vsc-trac-vsc-off-and-slip-indicators-lights.991851/page-2 It's either the zero point calibration, or something in the ABS system damaged.

    Turn key gx from Miramar

I had to google that one, I'm jealous of their business plan. Slap on 2 grand of wheels and tires, another grand for OME lift, round it up to another grand for Timing belt, cv axles, and all the detailing work. Maybe $50 worth of tire shine based on the website pictures lol. If these trucks...

Did you mean the trick for the airbag height control? The AHC tread you linked is for the 100 series LX

    P0430 after secondary air bypass?

Depending on the frequency of the codes, I wouldn't worry about the cats yet. If it continues to be an issue, replacing the 02 sensors is the next option I would explore.

    P0430 after secondary air bypass?

Unlikely it is related to the bypass. Most likely it is the O2 sensors or cat related. How many miles and in what condition is the exhaust? What is your typical driving situation? The code is due to a fault in the catalytic converter efficiency, so the downstream O2 sensors compared to the...

    Fuel leak in engine bay

Unlikely too much pressure in the system, probably just a 10 year old hose or o-ring wearing out. I'm too lazy to go look at this on my truck at the moment to confirm the style of clamp that is used. Is this on the high pressure side or the return fuel/low pressure side?

Transfer case whine after Royal Purple Synchromax fluid replacement

Ah, I remember mixing up the infamous cocktail from NASIOC and doing the change in my '08 WRX. Per the owners manual all you need is a Hypoid API GL-5 gear oil with a weight of 75W90. I was going to do a basic 75W90 this spring when I give my GX an overdue re-baseline.
