    Adding too much weight?

If you consider going into 35”-40” tires, I would strongly consider regearing everything while doing lockers. You will need to eventually if you are serious about tires that big. That said, a rig built as you’re describing with 33”-34” tires will do literally about anything you can throw at it...

2x 555 Ball Joint Boots Failed after 3,500 Miles

Another odd thing in your pic is the cotter pin on the first pic. Did you pull it before the pic for something? If not, it’s not in all the way and could have led to the nut loosening and potentially cause the failure.

    How-To: TechStream In 5 Minutes

If I remember correctly, I had to change mine to the J2534 to work.

    Ebay "Toyota/Lexus" Fuel Sending Unit

You roll the dice. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn’t. Check seller reviews for mentions of OEM product or to the authenticity of a product.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

For my aftermarket steering rack, I thought I would “upgrade” it a bit with Poly bushings. I stole these Nolathanes on eBay for $29!

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Just finished renovating my garage after my new driveway was poured. Used my 100 to haul home the wall art for the newly renovated garage!

    AHC Error code S307-82

Did you bleed everything properly following your repairs? I know the AHC systems are fairly finicky. Admittedly, I do not have AHC or any first hand experience, but if you open a sealed system and don’t purge air, you will inevitably have problems.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Mine was on there pretty good too, and you will for sure feel like you’re going to break it, but mine did come loose. Same with the banjo bolt on top, thought I was for sure snapping that baby.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Well, it wasn’t every single other steering component possible... But at least everything is new I suppose 🤦🏼‍♂️ Before the OEM only crowd comes for me, yes I know. My girl is not getting cleaner, only rustier, but I’ve accepted that and battle it where winnable. And after 8 years of ownership...

    Squeaking

List any mods done to help, things like mine below can be missed if unknown. I have a small squeak from my steel bumper contacting on the smallest piece of fender, but that is also why I have a radio 😂

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

That’s rad! I’ve still got my dad’s 78 Duraflex Splinter. It’s fun to carve on, but I mostly ride 8.25” popsicles still. I’ve got my daughter (17 months) starting to roll around on her butt, she loves it! Anyway back to your regularly scheduled Land Cruiser talk… Rolled over 307k this week too!

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

The truck is super nice, but what are the specs on that shred sled hanging on the wall? Been a minute since I’ve seen a nose guard on a skateboard!

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Swapped a leaky power steering pump out and grabbed a serpentine belt as well. I plan to rebuild the OEM steering pump and keep for a back up. Ran out of day light last night to bleed the system. Quick work this morning.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

You crazy bastard, you actually beat me to it lol. This was my plan for Blue when she is retired. Except slightly different. Pretty much the same though. Crazy job and good job being crazy!

Where to whack the intermediate steering shaft...

I would be surprised if you can get it off even semi-easily being in Illinois. There are guys out west with perfect rigs that struggle with this removal due to corrosion. Unless you don’t drive at all in the winter and have fluid filmed annually, I would expect a decent fight ahead. I’m in...
