@flintknapper My local trusted independent can get me in next Wednesday for diagnosis. If anyone has anything to try and look for taking it in I’ll be happy to check it out. I’m not completely helpless wrenching just never worked on AC before.

@Slickspawn - Yes I did, it was the LCA frame bushing (no.2) as Hoser suggests in this thread.

Replaced driver and passenger LCA frame bushing (don't think passenger necessarily needed it, but figured may as well). Quiet as can be now. Thanks @hoser and @2001LC

@2001LC @hoser Spent some time under the body with a friend today, it appears to be the LCA #2 bushing (frame mounted). You can feel the "pop" in that area and see about 1/4" of movement. I think hoser you had recommended that to me before when I was having a separate issue with a tie rod. At...

I'm not 100% sure what I am hearing, but there is a groaning noise at low speeds, and at a stop coming from the driver side front wheel. Doesn't seem to happen at high speeds. I was thinking LBJ but they have less than 5,000 miles on them but so does pretty much everything else on the front end...

Unfortunately I don’t have any working fobs. Truck was sold to me with only a valet key. Finally managed to reset the immobilizer through techstream and pair new master key. Dome lights all work, 2001 LX. I do have an aftermarket head unit - wonder if that could have anything to do with it

Anyone have experience on troubleshooting key fob programming? I've got the key paired as a master (had to use techstream to reprogram), but every time I try to pair the remote I always get two cycles of unlock/lock and the fob fails to program.
