Posting here to hopefully help anyone who has a C1755 (Rear Gate Valve) code in the future. My LX570 first gave me the code in 2022 (as mentioned previously in this thread). I then had a pump failure, which I believe was unrelated. Sorted that out, but have intermittently had the C1755 code ever...
I have the exact same problem (also on a 2010 LX), will watch this thread to see if anyone has identified a solution that doesn't involve replacing the whole stereo.
Quick question, I see in the FSM that replacing the suspension control ecu requires me to run the height offset calibration in techstream. Will the vehicle be undriveable prior to doing this, or do I simply risk having a suspension lean one way or another? I ask because I still have a persistent...
Nice, I'm glad you got it sorted out! I live in the Canadian prairies so I understand the importance of having a seat heater for the wife!
Does yours get heat on both the lower back and the seat cushion? My passenger side only seems to heat the lower back, so I'm not certain whether to blame...
Interesting write-up, thanks for this. On the subject of the larger hardware, the dealer service records for my 2010 LX indicate that in Nov 2021 the previous owner brought the vehicle in complaining of a scraping noise, and the dealer found one of the caliper bolts "Was rusted and wasn't...
No sorry, it turns on when I turn the knob to the left, the "cooled" seat side.
Also now after using it for a couple of days, it seems that the passenger seat is only being heated from the lower back portion. The heat doesn't seem to be coming from the seat cushion itself like it does on the...
I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggled mightily to replace these tubes! I ended up doing tubes 4,5, and 6. A couple tips I'd add for future reference:
To connect tube 5 to tube 4 (left side of the car), it helped to remove the rubber grommet/bushing from the new tube as it bumps against...
I purchased a 2010 LX earlier this year, and noticed fairly quickly the passenger side seat heater didn't work. My first assumption was that it would either be a fuse or a switch, but after finding a handful of threads I learned, that the most likely culprit was the seat heater ECU, which is...
Interesting question. My system lost at least 4 litres of fluid before I swapped the pump, so it didn't really surprise me there was air in the system. Also when I say I had a lot of air I don't really have anything to compare it to. Given the age and mileage it could certainly be that the...
Finally got my LX back up and running, I'll detail my issues and fixes here in case it helps somebody else, and for my own reference. Sorry for the long post!
In May I acquired a 2010 LX with 140k miles (225k kms) and a full dealer service history. The dealer had flushed the AHC system at 87k...
