I will have a full compliment of drawers soon. The platform to cover the hybrid battery is done (and could be ordered now- contact me) but the system is getting some cool upgrades so it's taking a bit longer.
Looking great! Glad you got them in. Only one note for clarification- the shipping crate is definitely not made from the same material- it's Birch plywood which is vastly inferior to the Baltic birch used in the systems. We've been using it through covid because it's actually been cheaper...
Our pup loves his spot on top of the Alpha system. I think it's just a factor of being high enough to see out while laying down. In other cars he seems to get a bit car sick, but loves riding in the 200. Whatever you do, putting them on top of the system is a good idea. Also gives them more...
Congrats on the router! I've been running a shop sabre for 3+ years, so if you have any questions feel free. But you probably won't need to as their tech support is very good!
Yes- if they tied into the interior or body anywhere else it would cause the dreaded "triangulation" (!) and resist the body's natural movement. You'd definitely start wearing things out, getting more squeaks, etc. Even with our systems only attaching to the floor you can get noises from the...
It’s hard to say without extensive engineering and testing. Looks like this company found out that their shelves caused the welds in the roofline to pop. I think it depends on the particular product and design. Bumpers, for instance, are relatively safe from this kind of thing since they are...
Essentially. What you are doing when designing rigid structures is to limit axes of movement. Making a "triangle" to reduce this movement along an axis is very effective- think fillet or gussets on steel, bridges, etc. Unless of course you want to maintain some movement for stress relief or...
Hi Frank- unfortunately and fortunately it will not- I make all systems to exactly fit the vehicle they were designed for. It's not possible or worth it to try to fit them in another model. It's a hard way to do business, but it makes the best product!
