It's basically a shop vac with a hole drilled in the bottom and a barb fitting so that the sandblaster can suck the recycled sand out of the vacuum

Too bad you're not closer, I've got a new sandblaster that does recycling... Pretty handy... Basically a sandblaster with a shop vac attatched, would be pretty easy to build a DIY one actually....

Ya in an ideal setup its normally a tiny tiny bit after the front, it's not like you want the front to lock up seconds before the rear 😂 On mine you need to watch pretty closely to see which locks up first...
