    Project "Sparkles"-1997 LX450 Gen V 6.2 Swap

My driveway is where I started working on cruisers ;-) I built many there rolling around on the ground and it took 5 years until I got one of those fancy lift thingies to make the job easier. Today we are spoiled with all these toys, I mean tools, that make our jobs easier

    Project "Sparkles"-1997 LX450 Gen V 6.2 Swap

We charged about $40 for two pieces of stainless that attach to the trans pivot and then connects it to the shifter pivot, I removed it from the kit because we didn't really explain how to modify the shifter to make it work. For the moment we basically reduced the price to reflect those and...

The Car Care Nut talks UR V8 blown head gaskets

This is a 2014 Land Cruiser with 220k miles. I see 4 cylinders with coolant steam-cleaning the pistons and it has never been over heated. The coolant passage between each cylinder seems to be the cause for each clean piston, so I would concur with TCCN in my opinion (For what it's worth).

    Registry 8x Series V8 Swaps

The hole in the fender is rectangular so it has plenty of capacity, I've found that diverting air to the hole and blocking the rear openings to prevent scavenging has been the best version so far. We have modded to a 4" snorkel also in the past, especially for the moonlight snorkels, etc. We...

    Registry 8x Series V8 Swaps

We have a plate option to get a tube into the fender, but the problem is that the big V8 needs a 4" inlet which won't fit into that fender. Because of that I use a rubber seal between the box and the fender. It seems to work well in terms of measuring intake air temps with the V8 scan tool

    Registry 8x Series V8 Swaps

We condensed our kit and updated pricing to reflect the changes, new price is 1980 plus shipping https://torfab.com/product/torfab-gen-v-gm-v8-lt-adapter/ We removed the shifter components for the transmission and will be making a separate kit for that with more hardware and instructions. We...
