I've been looking at the potential transmission/cooling issues(part of the reason for this thread).
Is there a preferred option for these? I've seen everything from universal to retrofit of OEM Lexus installed.
Ran the VIN through the NHSTA site, and nothing is pulling as needed, though it is not reflected in the service history.
Was this a true recall, or a service bulletin/recommended repair?

I'm in the process of purchasing a 2015 460 with 85k miles.
Single owner, and has been in to Lexus every 5k miles for service since new.
My question is if there is anything I should be looking to complete maintenance...
I purchased it from Summit Racing in April(Shipped in July due to Covid delays).
They may have had a pricing issue, because I only paid $570 for the whole kit. It is now listed a bit higher on their site.
Though I would still recommend it at the ~$800 that seems to be common.
Just finished installing this kit last night, install was very straight forward.
Still waiting on an alignment, but the ride is as good or better than stock.

Depending on your area there should be plenty of professional applicators. I would definitely look at reviews first.
A quality application should last at least as long as vinyl, and be a bit cheaper.
Another option you may want to look into is PlastiDip.
While definitely possible to DIY, the professional applications I've seen look significantly better and will likely carry some kind of warranty.
