    Tex Gets a 250

Looks great! Well you know I loved your 200 skids, I'd be tempted to get them for the OT if you come up with a set.

First Land Cruiser After Four 4Runners — Here’s What I Think

I've owned two 200's, three 5th Gen 4Runners, two FJC's, a Tacoma, and three GX's, soon to be four when our Over Trail arrives. The 200's were always our favorite and hands down the best vehicle that Toyota/Lexus has put on the road. I agree, if the GR spec 300 Land Cruiser had come to the...

    Tex Gets a 250

Our 2025 GX Overtrail is on a boat headed over as we speak. I wanted Incognito, but the wife wanted her to go to Pearl White; in the end, she won out, lol. Excited to have one in the garage here in the next 4-7 weeks and I am glad that we waited for the improvements on the '25 MY. We will have...

    Adios fellas!

After having two late model 200's (2019 LX570 and 2020 LC) and five late model Super Duty's I can confidently say the AC is better in the Super Duty, no comparison. And yes, if you live down here, quality tint is a must.

    Adios fellas!

We had a Lexus hybrid in the past, and it was by far the worst "modern" AC I've ever had in a vehicle. I found the AC in my 200 to be a 6/10 in the hot months. It kept up until temps got north of 90, which we all know is four months of the year down here, if not more. I've always found...

    Adios fellas!

Yea, comfortable seats and quality AC the Ford has in spades over the 200. Oh, I still plan to get a 60, always looking, even have a few parts in storage lol.

    Adios fellas!

For the most part. The main difference is that the Pintop Kings don't have the adjusters, and I don't think I'd spend King money and not have the ability to adjust them. I use it for my daily but I'd really like to be able to retire it to weekend/towing/adventure use only, and that'll be...

    Adios fellas!

Figured I'd bump this for $hits and giggles. The truck is coming up on 40K miles and two years of ownership. It has had one issue, the rearmost in series DPF sensor failed around 6K miles. It was promptly replaced under warranty, and I am happy to report that there haven't been any other issues...

    First KO2 failure

If she stays she’ll get a rear carrier and yes, sadly a little old 32” tire won’t fit in the factory spare location, it’s pathetic really. I did hear it and that’s what got me listening and then I heard the pop and subsequent gushing of air escaping through the hole and I knew at that point I...

    First KO2 failure

As noted in my post, my stupid a$$ forgot to take one.

    First KO2 failure

I am not sure what I ran over but I never saw it on the road nor did I see anything toss up behind me. Regardless, it was something gnarly enough to make a 2" hole in the tread of a KO2 at 55 mph. It tore a chunk out of the tread to the chords, it was beyond repairable and my dumb a$$ didn't...

    SOLD 1988 FJ62

If this were closer and I weren't attempting to save for an airplane (lol), I'd have to give this some serious thought. What a clean specimen.
