Anyone heading to URE this weekend?

Unfortunately we are both working next weekend. Hate to miss relic run!! So far it’s beautiful here! Trails are a little more adventurous than normal. Expecting rain later but even the wind’s been calm. Found some Jeeps to camp with. Should be nice and quiet!

One big project (for a peewee wrencher) and 9 small items to check off this weekend. Sensor/spacer lift on the LX because AHC is nifty and I kinda want to see if this works. Replacing all the shock rubber and bushings, no thanks to Lexus who have previously been very cool but wouldn’t sell me...

Yep.. I’ve bought from them before and have been piecing together an order recently. Which will now include the proper high-mount brake light....

New spark plugs and coils. Took me the entire afternoon, but, I’d never done it before and I had fun cleaning. Comparing to threads here I wonder if the plugs were original at 230k, they were extremely dark brown, but not wet or broken. Coil boots were new.. coils were not. If only I knew two...

Nothing dramatic, smacked the front end around on slick trails with a dying TRE that’s holding on for dear life now. Couple new clunks and tings worsened DDing it since. I’ll try to figure it out this weekend.. or at least get better at dodging potholes

Did some damage last weekend at URE that’s gotten worse quicker than parts arrival so John and I won’t be there after all. Have a great time and we will see you next year!
