Looks like a little of both. If you're gonna keep the GX for more than 3 years, I'd pull the trigger and get it handled. If you are looking to do it yourself, it's a hell of a job, but doable. Plenty of resources on here on how to do it if you're curious.

Everyone around here uses black Toyota FIPG these days. I used “Lube N Seal O-Ring Lubricant” I purchased off of Amazon.

I'd have them check the timing cover, cam towers, and valve covers for oil leaks. It's most likely seeping somewhere. If you haven't replaced the radiator and water pump, I'd do those too. At 147k, she's overdue for these things.

I watched this guy upgrade his rear brakes today, and in his video, his clips are left/right directional, but also, top/bottom directional. I was wondering if the OEM ones are also top/bottom directional.

I just did my rear brakes, and I'm wondering if these anti-rattle brake clips are top/bottom specific. I know they are left/right specific, but I wonder if anything makes them top/specific.

Got a 2015 Luxury with air suspension. What do you guys do to keep your airbags fit and proper? Can you spray them with something to keep the rubber supple?
