    Anyone running custom swaybars?

Actually......... I was thinking of doing the rear this weekend possibly. I put 2.5" kings on the back and changed out the skinny front for the thicker front and I feel pretty good now. It still is overcoming the rear sway and unloading a bit in the apex of tight hard corners. I am going to...

Build GW Nugget's Budget Daily Lx450 build

Ok Hmmmmmm....... I might have to try the shocks first than. The ride on this is super cush. I just hate the feeling that if I had to do some quick maneuvers I might flop it. I am throwing the heavy swaybar on tomorrow so I will see how that goes. I rather have a safe ride than an extra inch...

So nugget, with all your playing around would you say the shocks or the springs are a more critical part? I have OME springs and bilsteins 5650 and 5100s. Just don't like the lifted bus feeling. Trying to decide what to do first.

    4WD not working

Yeah I would just do the axle. You can just replace the side that's missing and go from there. You will need that whole side axle. No biggie. I got my spare from a wrecking yard for 50 bucks. Kind of a pain to install but not big if you know the difference between a wrench and a socket, and...

    4WD not working

Probably just broke the other birfield and threw it back together. If your dif was bad it would be letting you know since the driveline is still hooked up. Probably just throw an axle in it and you will be fine.

    Anyone running custom swaybars?

Sorry guys I have been snowed in with my two boys so I havent had too much time to do anything but entertain them. So yes @inkpot we do drop them but not usually the same amount as the lift itself. Some is better than none. I just dropped both mine to go from "WHOA WHOA WHOA" as the boys said...

    Anyone running custom swaybars?

The further you are away from the axle it goes up by ^4. So depending on where you want it will depend on the diameter of the bar. If you are too far away to use a presplined axle shaft that will work or a premade torsion bar than you can just get a piece of mild steel and fab one up. You can...

    Anyone running custom swaybars?

I've all ready messaged @jcardona1 but want to hear from anyone else that is running an antirock or home brew setup. I've been studying sway bar theory and design during my break. I've read engineer to win and done some metallurgical freshening up. I plan to make a custom antirock style sway...
