i have the ball. Pulled it out with a magnet and confirmed along with cleaning everything. Good news is that 4wd works fine, just the light issue. What pushes the ball upward when engaged? I feel like when i am pulling the vacuum lever it may not be doing anything with the ball in moving it...

For those of you that have mounted this is it bolting just to the top of the bumper support or do I need to remove and reverse my bumper supports that attach to the frame in order to get four bolts in? Hopefully the pics help show.

My frame kit came with the b-pillars and everything painted black. That was over a year ago so if no longer included that is something new. I did the frame and top from them.

i would love to know the install tricks that can get the soft top looking that tight. i keep the sides and back mainly rolled up so it does not bother me, but only installed a few snaps on the sides because getting it to stay tight like that seemed like a losing battle.
