@zman7980 your rig is looking killer! I'm still trying to decide what front bumper to go with. I like to classic look of the ARB design (same as Ironman & Dobinson's), but am not sure about how far it sticks out. I really like Metal Tech's bumper because it doesn't protrude out as much and is...

Just a few more pictures that weren't in the driveway.

Alignment did the fix. They set the caster as far forward as possible while keeping everything else withing factory spec. No more rubbing on the body mount. I did have to do some more fender massaging with the heat gun though, but that's the easy part.

Thanks @Nickk6! I believe they are hub-centric. I don't have any vibrations or issues so far with the wheels and know that Discount Tire didn't use any hub-centric rings on the wheels.

Found a crazy deal on a set of Mamba M16's (specs are 18x9" -12mm offset) and couldn't resist. Really changes up the way the truck looks. Had to do some more fender massaging, but also realized am hitting the body mount, so a body mount chop will be happening in the near future.

@zman7980 your truck looks great! In talking with Mark at MT4x4, the bumpers for the GX460 were designed to look identical to the Goblin and Pegasus bumpers for the GX470. He wanted to make the front bumper fit without having to cut the factory bumper. As for the rear he basically told me that...

    GX460 / Prado150 pic thread

Pretty sure my pictures didn't format correctly so here they are again. Sorry for the repost. Even though I feel like I'm pretty active on these forums, I still don't have access to edit my posts.....

@Nickk6 Thanks! I would say that the ride is marginally firmer over stock, but no where near really stiff. I have the TOY055B springs up front and TOY056B springs in the rear which is rated for 0-660lbs of weight (not constant rate). I think the best way I can put it is that my wife who notices...

It's like the center locking diff, only use it when you need it. Don't just leave it on for every day driving.

In Second Start the transmission starts in second gear which helps reduce tire spin as it requires more torque to spin the wheels when starting in second.

@SnoViking I didn't even notice the front bumper when I did it, but definitely cringed after I watched it the first time. My approach line could have been better. The MT bumper will definitely help out with that! I have a bunch of videos I stuck on the lead vehicle during our quick run, but...

Looks great @visuthdy!!! I was able to go out with a couple of the local guys to do a run up on Tray Mountian and the FCPs were like night and day compared to the Bilstein's from the last trip up there. The damper/response was so much better down the washed out gravel roads at higher speeds...

    1.5" Wheel Spacers? Anyone?

Adding spacers usually create more rub on the body, but less on suspension parts like UCAs. I put some on my GX, but ended up taking them off as it created too much body rub

    So-Many-Questions, 17 GX 460

@onepremiere I don't know about the offsets exactly, but I do know that 17" wheels will fit on the GX460. With 2" of lift you can easily run 33" tires, but how wide I don't have any idea. My old suspension set up I was able to fit 275/70r18's (slightly over 33" tall) with about 1" of lift. I now...
