Front and rear axles from a vehicle with about 90k miles. Recent brake job but sitting outside so rotors are rusty. Was going to use in a FJ40 build but went another direction. $950.00

The SD Truck Shop has probably 10 - 80’s in their shop at any point in time. They do a ton of work on land cruisers all the time. Just did a bunch of stuff on mine off and on over last year. Re-gearing, super charger, tires and wheels. Go to shop if you are in San Diego for sure.

How much are dues? Is everyone mostly in San Diego area?

I’m interested in coming out. Was thinking about going anyways and cruising around Ocotillo.

Just ran Odessa Doran Loop and part of Phillips recently. Wouldn’t mind hitting easier trails out there. Putting it on the calendar and will know closer if I can make it. Also trying to make it to the Jan meeting.

Yes, low works fine and so do the front rear lockers. Only in High is there Flickering and gear/vibration noise during light load.

We went through it twice just to make sure. Wondering what parts would also cause flickering center diff light on dash.

Is there a regular list of spare parts you should have for an 80 when you run trails like the Rubicon? I'm just getting into my 97 LX and don't know what to consider the weak points that would strad you on a trail. I also don't want to carry too much weight. I'll have my tow rig at the trailhead...
