Ment to post an update - truck was noticeably quicker ( wife asked what I had done to it - lol ). Later that weekend ,guess what ? Fuel pump took a crap - had to park it while I scrounged the $$ to buy a new pump.
Started operation rip out all the crappy tint - is there any easy way to strip that crap ? lol
Replaced the antenna mast - or at least mostly replaced. Just have to finish buttoning it up.
Diagnosed the reason behind a rear window that would not go back up.
Started replacement of washer fluid...
The whole indonesia / Thailand thing has been going on for a while in the world of motorcycling - the highly successful Kawasaki KLR 650 had been made in Thailand for a while. Apart from some initial ring installation issues , they have been pretty good. So maybe there is hope for Toyota's part...
