Up for sale is my 2001 uzj100 with 273,800 miles. Recent service discovered a detached sway bar, with nothing more than a hole in the frame where the bracket used to mount. Further inspection found a lot of rot on the frame and suspension components. The dealer deemed the vehicle unsafe to...

I think I might do the same thing, not as much $ either. I just need to find a way to sell my '01 lc for parts.

Guys, I have a 2001 100 series with just under 274,000 miles on it. Being a daily driver in New England for 15 years, it has a lot of underbody rust as expected. So much on the frame that the shop deemed it unsafe to drive. The front sway bar bracket has rotted off on the passenger side, and...

All, I have been searching through the forums trying to find a solution to a leak in my passenger side foot well. It appears to be coming from the A/C condenser. Sunroof drains are fine, fluid is definitely water, and it only happens when the AC is running. Water is draining about 50% through...

Did you ever go ahead with this? I am trying to do the same thing

Years of snow, sand, salt, and water has taken its toll on my carpet. It is at the point where the fabric is hard to the touch. Is there any way to restore the material that anyone knows of?

I tried to install the vais integregration device in my '01 with factory nav, as people with 2003+ have had luck with it. Sound came through but it was not clean at all, and it turns out that the wiring harness was not suited for the system, despite fitting properly. I contacted the company and...

All, after riding in the back seat of my lc for the first time in year I came to the realization that my stereo system is trash. My two front speakers have been replaced but the rest of the system is lacking. I've read up on a lot of the threads here but no clear answers for a 2001 with nav. 1)...

Great info guys. I definitely think a light bar will be worthwhile. I will also wait to see what spaber comes back with, and then decide between that and just upgrading bulbs. I'm really not up to tearing up my headlight housing to do a retrofit myself

A retrofit would definitely come at some point! Where in MA are you? I am on the south shore, if you get yours done I may ask you to help me out with mine!

Where my camp is up in Maine, the roads go on for miles with nothing on them. They are out of the question in occupied roads.

It seems like I could even fit a 12" bar on either side. Do you think these would put out enough light? Even if they were the Amazon ones that are posted above?

I've got a completely stock front end. I am thinking of mounting behind the bumper grill, drilling into the metal bumper brace itself. 8" on each side of the license plate, as larryt did here https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/lighting-solutions-for-trucks-with-factory-bumpers.672797/page-2

I may have to take this path. How will a light bar do as far as distance goes?

I have not considered light bars. Any recommendation for size/cost? Just trying to explore and compare costs
