3vze. Zero compression on driver side cylinders.

I just did a full head gasket replacement a few months ago. Also, isn’t it unlikely that all three cylinders would go at once. Even with a blown HG I would think I’d get some sort of compression, even a small flicker of the needle on the gauge....I get absolutely zero psi on all three.

3vze. Zero compression on driver side cylinders.

I have a 1993 4Runner with the 3.0l v6. It seemed to have a new lack of power last week, along with a low idle. Then Friday morning it died leaving my house, and wouldn’t start again. I have spark at all six plugs, I’m also getting fuel. Further diagnosis revealed that there is ZERO...

Wanted 22r rocker arm assembly needed

I am all the way over in Washington State. I'd have to look into shipping costs, but I have more than a couple rocker arm assemblies that will fit your motor.

My steering locks up! 2nd gen Runner

A slipping belt is a thought... The symptoms match that theory somewhat. I haven't heard any squealing or slipping belts but that doesn't mean it isn't happening. It does seem weird that a belt would slip because of some water, unless it's noticeably loose or old and hardened. Which is not the...

My steering locks up! 2nd gen Runner

Hey guys, here's a fun one... Yesterday while in my '93 4Runner I drove through a 6" deep puddle in a parking lot. The usual big splash occurred and then my steering instantly locked up. Meaning, I could barely force my steering wheel to turn in either direction. After 15 seconds or so of...

    94 4X4 4 wheel issue

When you say "I locked my hubs" are you referring to manual locking hubs or auto? If not manual, is it an ADD front end? How does it react in 4lo?

    Typical 4Runner rear sag!

Vipergrhd; I didn't realize 99' runner springs could be swapped into a 2nd gen. Are they taller then stock 93' coils? Same diameter?

    Typical 4Runner rear sag!

OME without any help?(airbags) I don't normally overload this runner, but it has seen "SOME" weight in the past. Plus I am building a front solid axle that will likely get leafsprings, and will add a couple inches of lift over stock...This is why I'm thinking 2" lift coils...

    Typical 4Runner rear sag!

Hey guys, my '93 runner has finally hit bottom, literally. I planned on replacing the coils with stock length springs and use airbags to help out. Now I'm leaning towards 2" lift coils and possibly still bags later on. Anyone have a brand preference? I'm sure there are many threads on this...

    No clutch! 2nd gen runner

Rear main went fine. Oil pan did not. I bought a cork gasket set instead of just using RTV. The set comes with two gaskets, one for either side of the plate that goes on before the pickup. I knew the bolt length would be close because of the added thickness. But in the end the were too short to...

    No clutch! 2nd gen runner

Yea, I guess that would be the other option. After all the tranny work, I just wasnt in the mood to do anything with the motor, ha. I did pull the pickup for ease though. Rear master and oil pan should go on tonight. Replace ifs and steering, then onto the clutch, clutch master and slave. Every...

    No clutch! 2nd gen runner

Does the IFS center AND a couple steering linkages really need to be fxxxed with to get the oil pan out!!!??? Its seldom that I Curse Toyota, but I find myself really hating any drivetrain past '85!!
