A buddy of mine connected me to a local-ish company that was looking for an 80 to prototype some parts on… (bumpers, skids, sliders, roof rack, molle panels, tailgate storage). They were doing stuff for the Jeep market but are tired of people trying to haggle on their already reasonable pricing...

Unfortunately, I had a LC specific shop take a look at it and it’s leaking internally. Just going to replace it for peace of mind.

A little late, but was able to get new wheels and tires for Black Friday… Also, in the the weeks before, new PS pump, new radiator, and new hoses. Have a new distributor on the way since the current one is dripping oil.

Hit the road last week to Mississipi for a few days to collab on some work with a buddy of mine… Brought the doggo with me and he loved every minute of the trip!

We loaded up the dogs in the 80 and went for a fun Florida drive around Lake Apopka and then headed east to Black Point Wildlife Drive

Haha my bad! 251k miles, leather inside intact, bone stock. Previous owner had head gasket done, cylinder head resurfaced, new water pump, new radiator, new oil pump, new fuel filter and pump, new thermostat, valve set & cover, spark plugs. Paint is still shiny, no D light, no cracks in...

I wouldn’t say 34 states is a “vast” majority, especially when it’s been shown that even your state doesn’t require emissions testing in every county.

Anyone else curious what this truck actually looks like?
