Yes, (P.S. you might want to @me if you want me to see the message) I got a simple Power wire Amp kit from amazon. It came with the power wire that I ran through the passenger side firewall grommet, and grounded the amp directly to a sanded portion of the body where the seat attaches. I ran...

Note: only the larger plug fit into my amp, and all of the wires were labeled correctly regarding which wire went where. For example, the (FR+) labeled wire went to the front right positive speakers, etcc. https://a.co/d/6rruLqa Amazon Metra 70-8116 Factory Amplifier Bypass Harness for Select...

It's the same as my LC. Steering wheel controls work, volume knob only mutes.

Yes to everything. I also used the Metra harness from amazon that fits my amp. it was $40 but it matched the wires perfectly so I didn't have to run new wires to any of the speakers, and I can always revert to stock if I every wanted to (I wont)

I fixed the hum by installing a new sound stream Picasso Nano 5.640D 5 channel amp. And running audiophile RCA's. Sound is crystal clear and the 4ohm aftermarket SKAR speakers the previous owner installed sound great for those bass drops.

I bought a 12V to 6V voltage converter. Do you think this would work? that way the factory amp isn't receiving too much voltage? I would love to test it, but idk where to connect it. I don't want to fry anything.

Yup, But my noise filter is still installed as well as my RCA cables, (check my previous picture for location) and I tapped the ground wire of the noise filter into the ground wire on the Teyes harness. This may have helped, but I honestly don't know why the noise went away and I'm really...

I'll try to find something with RCA's to Aux and plug in my phone. As for the noise filter, i'll definetly try that if the noise comes back

Hello Everyone, My "hum" went away by simply unplugging and plugging the Teyes bundle into this port. I have no idea why this fixed it and I have a feeling that the noise will come back, but for now, I'll monitor this thread and see how people permanently fixed this issue. From what I've read...

I have aftermarket amazon SKAR 12ohm speakers that the previous owner installed. So I've attached the power filter + ground loop and no change. I'll try grounding my speakers tmrw and if that doesn't work. I'll buy a cheap amp to test that. If that doesn't work Im returning everything, this...
