Finished up my exhaust for the LS swap. 3" mild steel so I went ahead and painted the tubing with a high temp paint. Resonator and muffler are stainless so I left them alone. Three 02 bungs: 2 for the LS ECU and one for the AEM A/F ration gauge.

Mocking up my trans and engine. This, right now, is my front driveshaft/oil pan clearance. I havent had much luck creating more space there. How much more room do you guys think is necessary to prevent any rubbing?

I’m installing a shifter out of a (I think) 94’ cruiser, because of the extra shift you get with them. It seems there’s no stopper in between D and 3rd gear though. Can’t you accidentally shift into 3rd going 70mph?

Looking on Cruiser Outfitters and it seems our options for bushings are aftermarket rubber, OEM rubber, and Poly. Can anyone recommend one over the others? I was leaning towards OEM but the cost is freakin up there..

To all LS swap guys who used the original truck intake! I mocked up the motor today and bolted it in using the original bolt holes on the crossmember to to see what was going on. The motor is a little crooked, I believe the bolt holes need to be moved to the passenger side to account for that...

I have the wiring harness on the bench now. It's not a specific set up just for testing the PCM but how I have it wired, it seems like it should be working. Correct
