Howdy folks,
With the first 78 series models becoming importable to the US this last year I am trying to get and idea of how many LHD markets ever got the HDJ78 or VDJ78 (I’m aware the VDJ only started production in 2006, so still a ways to go for its import green day). My research online of...
Great looking Cruiser, could we get more shots of the rest of the interior as well as the undercarriage? The model of the RTT or a picture of it set up would be nice as well.
Thank you. Repairs were going to be about 20K, so I decided to take the cash from Statefarm and salvage what I can out of the thing, who knows maybe a chop top wheeler conversion is in my future ;).
Howdy folks I have a pre-assembled powder-coated 4x4 Labs 60 series rear bumper for sale that hasn't even been taken out of its shipping packaging. The reason is shortly after receiving the bumper my poor 62 got crushed by a barn cave-in from excess snow. When this happened, the bumper was still...
Looks like she’s in excellent condition and would be a great turn key experience. Since she’s from Australia and a 96 she dosent have the 1HZ high altitude compensator does she?
Yes, those are the afore metioned research threads I used to help diagnose the issue on my rig. Unfortunately, none of those threads really came up with a solid answer that applies to my rig, and I truly cannot believe that this is a standard noise to be heard when driving H4WD fast on a high...
Howdy Folks,
This weekend when driving on well packed dirt roads I decided to throw my 62 in H4WD as I just rebuilt the front end and still haven’t hit the miles on it to drain the fresh metal shavings out. Upon doing so I discovered that when I went over 20-25 MPH I would start to hear a low...
Yeah, it seems to be a common answer to this question on various threads across the 40 and 60 cruisers. I guess I will have to see what she does next time I'm on a snowy highway, or maybe when I finally get out to the dunes.
It was happening out on well-packed/dry dirt roads, I will have to see if it happens on gravel or snow if I get a chance. Luckily it only happens when going 20 MPH or faster when in H4WD
Sorry to revive an old thread but did you ever figure this out? I have this exact same thing happening to my 88 62. We just fully rebuilt the front end and had the gear work done by CruiserOutfitters, so very very doubtful it’s anything in the knuckles or differential. My drive shaft has a bit...
Do you not remove the bushing from the left side then? Looking at mine I have two nuts to remove from the left side in order to get the “shaft thread” out , unless I am completely confused.
