Yep, relays under the dash. I pulled the headlight relay and plugged it into the tail light relay slot. Everything worked fine (except the headlights obviously). Bought a new relay and bingo. Just mad at myself for not having tried something so simple sooner.
Shot in the dark but wondering if any of you fine folks have a complete 3rd member for an FJ60 (3.73 gears). Mine somehow exploded last week while driving down the road. Still not entirely sure what happened but I want to source the parts before the shop digs into it. Thanks!
As title states, my rear and side lights are not coming on when turning on headlights. Taillights work fine under breaking but not when headlights are on. I checked the TAIL fuse in the fuse box and that isn't it. Anyone have any troubleshooting suggestions on where to start? Thanks!
Yep. Wanted to put it on a boat to Columbia. I mean, I get it, I don't think it's his business model to restore vehicles in the US. He'll toss some parts on your truck, install upgrades, that sort of thing in the US. Anything else goes to Columbia. This truck is way too nice to deal with those...
1976 and it needs a restoration brought over the finish line. Finish wiring in engine bay, get it running, brakes gone through, some interior installed, glass installed all around.
Hi local cruiser dudes,
I'm trying to find someone to complete some work on a project 40 I picked up earlier this year. Everyone seems pretty packed and unwilling to take on the project. OTRAMM's not working on 40s anymore, Iron Pig is swamped, the guy in Hagerstown wants to send it to Columbia...
Forgot about your desmog question. PO did the work but it’s done right. It’s been desmoged for 7-8 years and Runs great. Other than a busted coil and a dead fusable link, this is literally the first problem I’ve had in 6 years of ownership.
I have some octane booster I’ll throw in with a fill up that might serve as a test against pinging. It’s not running hot (aftermarket 3 core aluminum champion rad keeps it super cool). I haven’t tried much else yet as I’m on vacation with the truck. I’ve got a simple set of tools but nothing...
