LC250 OEM Rock Rail Door Ding Protection?

I was wondering if anyone with OEM rock rails could tell me if they stick out enough to provide parking lot/ door ding protection? I see them for sale for a couple hundred $ and was thinking it may be a cheap way to stop door dings? It's a stock height LC250, so maybe they sit too low to stop...

AGP Wheels on a 200 Series (TRD Replicas)

I have a general understanding of what the offset is, but don’t really know +- how much matters I was gonna run 275/70/18 most likely. I have a 1 inch OME level kit/ new springs The car doesn’t leave pavement. Just looking for black wheels whether I paint my stocks or buy aftermarket - thanks

AGP Wheels on a 200 Series (TRD Replicas)

Does anyone have these on their 200 series? I believe they will fit but they cannot confirm the hub will not stick out too far forte center caps. They are knock off TRD wheels. I have seen them referenced int eh 100 series forum, but cannot find them on a 200. They fit the Tundra and Sequoia...

Kid car: 2016 LC125k mi vs newer 4Runner

Agree with this in principle. Grades/sports/ summer work are the requirements. Paying her own insurance will likely be about all that’s gonna be feasible. I’m being told it’s about 2k a year with my coverages

Kid car: 2016 LC125k mi vs newer 4Runner

So I debate this as well is bigger heavier better than 8yrs of safety improvements and slightly smaller.

Kid car: 2016 LC125k mi vs newer 4Runner

I drive a dodge diesel and a wrangler. The Lc is the wife’s old car. So I debate this: is an 8yr old “luxury” car the lc. “Nicer” than a newer 4r. Btw I know this all personal opinion. I probably should have put a couple polls out there for these questions. To the earlier point, I think...

Kid car: 2016 LC125k mi vs newer 4Runner

So my wife thinks it’s a “moms” car. Part of the reason for the question

Kid car: 2016 LC125k mi vs newer 4Runner

Yea I figured. But at least I can tell my wife everyone agrees with me. These are the only two options in my book.

What are you thoughts on changing transmission fluid?

I have the dealer do all my Toyotas around 100k. Full flush…. Only issue I ever had was my 05 4runner got air in the transmission after their service. It started shifting funny. The were able to easily fix/ identify the issue when I took it back and told them

Kid car: 2016 LC125k mi vs newer 4Runner

There is no right answer on this but I’d like to hear the pros vs cons Kid is turning 16. I can give her our 2016 LC with 125k miles or swap it for a newer 4runner at basically an even trade My thought: I’ve had the lc since 2016 and it’s been dealer maintained/ good condition. I’m assuming...

    Trailer Brake Controller Connector

Is this the brown end plug that you are referencing? This is a pic of the small triangular shaped piece of trim near the left foot pad, under the hood release. I am trying to install the brake controller, but have only found instructions for 2008-2015 models. I am wondering if the 2016 is any...
