I think correct idle for the 1FZ-FE is 650 RPMs, so your second photo looks alright. Your oil pressure, though, is extremely low.

If the popping occurs on hard turns, it sounds like worn birfields. Welcome to MUD!

I got a section of return hose from an Autozone for a dollar or so. It's cheap enough.

I feel like I'm the only one with whose light still works. I'd say it was replaced, but the PO was lucky to change oil.

Sounds like it needs a muffler. Problem solved.

I picked up a second clutch for cheap on ebay, figured if I didn't have much into it it wouldn't hurt for a learning experience.

Already had a clutch with the fancy mud-approved fluid. Getting new pump, fan, belts, etc. The belts are relatively new, but it never hurts to grab a set while I have the funds. Radiator was replaced not long before I took possession of the truck and seems to be healthy and full of green...

Yup, getting everything put together for an order now. Perfect time to service the cooling system, especially right before a hot Alabama summer.

Water pump decided to kick it while heading up the hill to work. Coolant is everywhere, fan shroud is destroyed, fans not in great shape either:

The part no on the NSS suggests A440 or A442, the earlier transmissions. I think, from what I've read here, that the 1HD-T only came with the A442? Could be wrong about that.
