In my 2016, all the cameras come on, just like before... both by shifting into Reverse or by pressing the button at low speed or itself at low speed if I select the auto-camera feature.

Dealer rfid tag. Tag id gets picked up by scanner on lot. Vin gets assigned to that tag id and they can locate vehicle on premises or thru different departments (service, wash, etc.). Pretty harmless and unless on their lot, it’s useless.
