Is there a preferred coolant for the 3FE engine? 1991 FJ80, all I know is what's in there now is green and only good to -7F according to the hygrometer. It's clean, I'm thinking if nothing special is necessary for coolant I will drain some out of the radiator, add propylene glycol concentrate...

That was it. New one-way vacuum valve on the vacuum booster and the brakes work great.

I wondered if that might be the case. I've only seen that coloration on Dutchies and the head is straight-up Mal. I use the same combination, agitation collar and prong collar to get the dog from the vehicle (FJ80) to the search area without destroying my knees, then remove the prong and switch...

What about a removable-key type battery disconnect switch on the ground wire to the battery? Mounted under the hood in such a way that the terminals are not accessible so the would-be thief can't put both wires on one terminal...

1991 FJ80 restoration project -- when the ambient temperature is above the high 20s or low 30s, or if I let the vehicle warm up thoroughly, the brakes work great. Below the mid 20s and if the engine is cold, the brakes do not work at all. Hard pedal at the right height, just no stopping power...
