Try pressing inward as you untwist the bulb to free it. Then bulb in hand you can inspect/adjust/tighten that screw. I'm betting that screw is loose which why you can just keep twisting the bulb. From an alignment stand point you want the bulb to be vertical and to not to move around - otherwise...
