This talk of bolt restoration is all well and good, but at the risk of hijacking this thread, which one of you guys with bucket loads of restored OEM bolts is willing to sell me some of their stuff?

Placed my order yesterday. Looking forward to these as the finishing touch on my amateur restoration. Especially on an FJ40, where so many fasteners are exposed. On a fresh restoration, the crusty old fasteners now stick out like a sore thumb.

De-patina'd the jack, too.

Don't forget the additional $50,000 it will take to renovate your living room into a showroom with garage door and ramp. Because that's what I would do if I had an electric Land Cruiser.

I have an auxiliary tank in the back under the bed, but the filler was low, and as mentioned, it would leak, especially when making hard left turns when the tank is full. Like when hustling through a yellow light at an intersection. So when I restored my truck, I set the filler up higher, same...

Fuel stuff in place and connected. Technically, the truck is now drivable. Punch list is getting shorter; need to paint and install the seats hardware, put in the rollbar, attach tail lights and bumpers. That's about it.
