I've been exploring Toyota PIDs in OBDFusion and for my 2020 the oil temp PID does report a value. It doesn't seem right though (never gets very hot). And like others I can find no reference to an oil temp sensor in the FSM. I wonder if we actually have a sensor or if the PID is reporting...

They chose the Special Vehicles dept. after I inundated them with modification receipts. Doesn't sound like yours would fall into this category unfortunately.

I went around and around with USAA when my heavily modified fj-62 was totaled. Eventually I overwhelmed them with receipts, made them not use comps from salt belt areas, and they agreed to assess it through their "special vehicles" department, which netted about 10-15k (don't remember exactly)...

Well, I'm OTT tuned now. Kept it easy at Mild/Medium on the throttle. I wasn't much of a fan of the Pedal Commander that I tried and my wife occasionally drives the truck so wanted to keep it closer to stock. Shifts are so much better. No more of the 1-2 hunting when rolling through a traffic...

I've been driving the truck and data logging every drive. It seems that low knock feedback value events are dropping every drive. My understanding is that -3 is effectively 0 (not advancing or retarding/no knock detected). Lower than that timing is being pulled and higher it is being advanced...

Well, OTT asked for some data logs before they engage with any tuning. I saw some short but significant negative KFV during medium efforts (not WOT). Idle and cruise looked fine from a knock perspective. I'm going to wait on any additional testing until OTT to gets back to me with their analysis...

With a little more seat time I see my LTFT fluctuating between 7 and 11 (sometimes as low as 5 but just for brief periods). Idle and low throttle appear to push it closer to 10-11. KCLV is pretty steady at just over 18. I've also been watching all 10 of the Toyota specific PIDs for A/F Ratio...

So far everything seems great. Very smooth, wants to pull. No leaks. Temp is stable at the middle of the dash gauge. Can't hear any detonation. I've been monitoring short and long term fuel trim. Short term at idle barely moves from 0, just flicks slightly positive and negative. Hard to watch...

Snuck out and got a quick 15 min drive done. Took it super easy but even at low throttle you can tell it wants to pull. Might be able to get in a longer drive with a little more throttle later tonight.
