FWIW I would have gone SL if I could have found one in a 285/65R18. I ended up in Defenders E range. It's all personal but I don't notice a harshness difference at 40PSI and the truck handles better. Even my wife noticed the handling improvement, and she never notices any changes I make :-)
I did see that about the injectors, thanks for posting that. I'm hoping that I can get away with the greens, although from what I read they are at the limit with a safe stage 1 tune.
Are you running Harrop's modified fuel pressure regulator, or did you just go bigger injectors and custom tune...
@gluaisrothai are you on the Harrop stage 1 configuration (stock injectors, upgraded pump, modified fuel pressure regulator)? Now that VFTuners supports through '21 I'm back seriously thinking about a Harrop again but not sure if it would be best to start off in the Harrop configuration or leave...
I wish I could be sure that the updated Toyota springs don't have the same problem... Making the assumption that the updated springs on my 2020 addresses this helps me sleep at night.
Are the DRL lights different in an LC (2020) versus the 570? I did this same set up but powered the coil for the relay for the aux beams directly off of the high beam fuse in the engine bay fuse block (this fuse is only hot with the high beam switch on in my LC). Put a switch inline so that the...
Last night I had to go out on pure ice with my new Blizzaks. Multiple thaw, freezing rain cycles after ~2' of snow laid down thick ice everywhere. The ice was so bad you could barely walk across a parking lot. My dog couldn't even stand up. No way to break it up or shovel it. The LC + Blizzaks...
Thanks. Yup, I realize that pre and post cat O2 has been standard for many years to account for the condition of the cats, and that all fuel and spark tables have limits. It would still be interesting to understand, even with appropriately tuned fuel and spark tables, if the A/F Ratio Sensor is...
I was looking through the FSM today and noticed that 16+ lists an "Air Fuel Ratio Sensor" ahead of the cats and a "Heated Oxygen Sensor" after the cats. A little web searching suggests that the "A/F Sensor" is another name for a wideband O2.
My question is - does anyone know if this A/F Sensor...
This is great! I did an alt upgrade on my FJ-62 because stock was so bad at idle the headlights would dim. And I was running a stereo system, on board PC, dual batteries, etc. so pretty power hungry compared to stock. Used an oem case and a smaller pulley like here. I don't currently have the...
