I like column shifters for mostly nostalgic reasons. Long ago, owned 4 different Panther platform Fords. Big bench in the front, plenty of knee room for the driver. It's an efficient setup so far as space. And just plain cool.
And yeah, gotta agree, our Sedona Minivan probably beats most for...
A friend just got a Sierra AT4. That thing looks pretty badass, and has the 6.2L. He's getting 20mpg.
For the OP, does he plan to tow anything? I'd be concerned about the IRS. Expeditions get pretty wobbly at speed while towing, and wobbly if you are hitting high speed. Normal speed, yes, rides...
Say, was this rig at Central Park on Saturday? I think we crossed paths. Very clean exterior, for anyone who is curious. Sold a 2005 with same combo in early this year.
Be happy to help. I dealt with them a lot before almost pulling the trigger on a 2009 they had last winter. Sales people are decent, manager is an absolute awful person to deal with.
In short, avoid the Bargin Lot at all costs. How well did you inspect it?
Now that is a lot more realistic. Everyone on this forum says buy a +2013 Land Cruiser if it's clean. I don't know the specific upgrades for that year and up, but it's probably on the FAQ thread. Walser CJDR is where I worked, a long, long time ago. Great place for a person to begin their...
This same dealership sat on a previous Land Cruiser for a very long time last year. At least 6 months, and did not budge on price. I think it was a little older, maybe a 2008, but had well under 100k miles. Price was same. You might be able to use that to your advantage.
I've heard this...
Very nice truck and deal. Looks nearly new in your pictures.
Just bought an 2011 LX, trading from a 2005. Same mileage as yours, same interior. Was looking seriously at Yukons/Tahoes as well. Your commentary is helpful context.
Thanks all- The PA has been sent, taking delivery tomorrow at 3pm. The mandatory pics will follow. Strictly a mall-crawler. No, I will not buy an ARB bumper or Rock Sliders, or even do the AHC lift. Heck, I refuse to put bumper stickers on. If Toyota engineers wanted a bumper sticker, it would...
Hey All,
Purchasing this 2011 today. Currently own a 2005 LX, 205k miles. Both are pearl white.
Mileage on the 200 series is 118k. Very clean service records, incredibly clean truck with 3M wrap, remote start, and WT floormats. Rust is minimal for a midwest car. Price is ~$25k. Luxury and...
Price drop to $11K, and more pictures added. We had this out during the snowstorm on the 30th. Up and down the west metro with the family inside for 7 hours. Drove very confidently, felt very safe and solid with a lot of other vehicles in the ditch.
Great thread, a lot of good discussion. If I end up with that 2009 LX that we talked about a while ago, maybe I'd be a guy to buy your current tires. The 2009 has a set of Nokians, two new, two bald. TBD on how it goes- thanks as always for your help!
