Really like this one. You get a good deal on it? How does it handle? I almost purchased a Porsche before I got into my M Coupe but I had so much history with the S52 M cars, being that I had three, so that tipped the scales.

I have 5 Cooper discoverers, 315/75r16 that I’m not using. 4 were used but with tread remaining. They are slightly chopped and loud with the ol’ MT roar. The fifth one hasn’t seen many miles at all. Would make a good set of off-road/trail tires. Trading for 1970s ford truck parts, steering...

Have some Land Cruiser Phil gull wing windows for trade. Looking for Dentside Ford Pickup parts. I have a 1974 pickup I’m tinkering on and in need of: Ford steering wheel, 900x16 tires, disc brake front axle out of a 78 or 79 F250. Anything else fun. I can think of too many items I’d like for...

Compared to my 80s, that is some great looking sheet metal and paint. That’s quite a project to take on. Nice work.

@GLTHFJ60 my car is an S52. It’s a drivers car. I daily drive it in WNC and Upstate SC. It shares the daily duty with my 40th LC. As for DINAN equipment, I’m running exhaust, intake, throttle body, MAF, Koni shocks with Dinan springs, front strut tower brace, and the more rare items are the...

@uzj100 Never owned a 944 but they have really aged well. I perceive them as a car that people have grown to appreciate as the cars have gotten older. I have a similar vehicle. I daily drive this and when they first came out people didn’t like them. Now they are a bit more coveted.

He’s done complete rebuilds on 1FZ. He had just finished one when I took mine. However, he’ll say he prefers not to take on full rebuilds at this time. Head jobs, another story. Talks it and knows it pretty well. An all around solid mechanic. It was hard to find a local that has experience with...

@ZachG For a head job I’d go to Daniel Benfield, Benfield Autoworks. He is was a Certified Toyota mechanic and now runs his own shop just outside of Hickory. He is a one man shop that’s super honest and reasonably priced. I’ve taken my 40th and my brothers Tacoma there for repairs a few times...

I’ve recently heard 8-10k for a rebuild. Of course it depends on the extent of it. I have one needing rebuilt as well.

WTB, need a new or rebuilt power steering pump for my 97 LX450. Just out a new cardone one on and it failed in two weeks. Reservoir appears full but pump isn’t moving fluid. Not sure if I had a leak and pump was damaged so it quit pumping or if reservoir was plugged causing damage. Let me know...
