1982 Landcruiser HJ47 B2 diesel engine Originally external regulator, new alternator has internal regulator …..any suggestion where to get wiring harness or wiring diagram to rewire for the new alternator...…...do I still need to keep the EDIC if I do the rewiring? Thanx

I double checked the Alternators.....the new one has internal regulator......the old one has external one......see pictures... I guess I need a wiring diagram to rewire ….but still needs the connection to the solenoid operating the fuel shut off arm...…. that comes from the EDIC relay that is...

The alternator is brand new with internal regulator purchased from Australia...……. yes the old is not charging correctly. I didn't do any wiring on the new one and it has the same wires coming out of the alternator as the old one.....

My alternator has an internal regulator....is there a way to bypass the Ingram....or does it have additional functions that need to be preserved beside the voltage regulation of the alternator...….. Thanx

Can anyone suggest a shop that knows how to work on electrical on my 1982 Landcruiser HJ47, with 2H Diesel engine. Installed new Alternator but its not showing any charging, also the fuel shut off relay is turning on and off every time I step on the brakes...... Thanx Michael

The flashers do the same as the turn signals....blink only once......all the lights are new with new bulbs...…new flasher unit..... installed a new ground strap from chassis to bed....still not working ???

I just installed new wiring in my 1982 HJ47 and the turn signals are not blinking. The lights turn on but don't blink. I have installed a new relay also but they still don't (cycle) blink, unless I keep moving the blinker arm...….I can hear the relay click once but then stops, any suggestion...
