Wanted to mention these jack stands as well. They were super useful installing the rear leaf springs. If anyone in northern Ohio ever needs a set hit me up and you can borrow them.
Finally got around to putting the rear leaf springs on. It sat around for a few months but finally my wife said she wanted to take it for ice cream so I got to work and got it back on the road. Also installed the new dashpad that had been sitting around.
I will be curious to see what you find with this. I have the same issue when I put my doors and soft top on. I have gone through the gaskets under the wind shield and it all looks good.
Fixed the shorted out wiring harness for the wiper motor. PO had used a trailer harness at some point in the past. I ended up doing the same. Maybe the winter I’ll see if Coolerman has one and I can rewire it. But the goal is driving so it’s ready for fall!
I was on my way to pick up my son from school when I noticed that my amp meter was going negative with the turn signal on. Didn’t think too much of it but then about a mile later I noticed smoke coming from the wiring harness that goes through the windshield. Guessing I just crimped the wires...
