2 extra threads should be fine, in terms of avoiding interference with the camshaft. I would re-chase those threads just to ensure it is clean from any debris, so you get a nice clean torque pass. Also, I used the ARP washers.

Here’s a crappy pic I found on my phone, but it shows the stud seated all the way into the block after running the thread chaser.

These have a torque specification of 80lbs. The torque sequence is the same per the fsm. ARP calls for 3 gradual torque passes. 30lbs-55lbs-80lbs

Let me know if you have any other questions or want more pics, happy to help. FYI if you run studs, buy a quality thread chaser M11x1.25 and clean your holes. Do not risk not chasing them if you decide to run studs.

Seated fully, cleaned threads prior with thread chaser. Plenty of thread engagement. No modification of studs required. Don’t sweat it, buy those and forget everything else you’ve read.
