Why does it come and go through the seasons?

I just have this happen to my 2015, and it turns out my gas cap was indeed very loose. I had it filled up at a full service gas station and I think they just were sloppy and rushed. It took about 3 hours of turning the vehicle on and driving around and turning it off while I ran errands, finally...

Right, and as a reminder nobody knows what exactly we're lubing in there, why it's working, or what the result would be with anything other than a spray lubricant.

When I spray with the silicon wd40, I use the long tube attachment. I'd imagine you could do the same with a thicker lubricant.

Came back again a few weeks ago as weather got colder and wetter. Sprayed again down into the rubber boot with silicone WD-40 and noise went away. See you in 6 months lol

An update - I added refrigerant using a can from A/C Pro. Low pressure line read about 32 PSI and I added to about 44 PSI. Fixed the issue, now blowing cold on both driver and passenger sides. I don't think I have any leaks, but the issue started the summer after the dealership did a bunch of...

I do as well - did you use one of the cans with the attached gauge from autozone (or wherever)?

So you had a leak? I guess I can get checked for refrigerant leaks.

This started last summer, and now that it's hot again, it's happening again: passenger-side air conditioning doesn't blow cold. The driver's side blows ice cold, and the passenger is left with what feels like ambient temperature air blowing on them. Not hot air from outside, but "barely cooled"...

A quick update on my system. I have had it running nicely for several months now, and then during a drive today the sound suddenly stopped working. I cannot get any of the apps to play audio. I tried rebooting the system, restarting the vehicle, and checking all of the audio settings. No dice...

I hid mine behind the center speaker mesh. It does a pretty good job.

Thanks, I'll post in the other. The newest unit appears to be running Android 11 and has a very different GUI design relative to the one in the EC OffRoad videos - much more modern look/feel.
