My other poor financial decision: 1994 FZJ80 land cruiser

Still haven’t done my roof yet, but I did finally knock out the rest of the radiator and coolant bypass hoses / rear heater bypass. New heater valve, throttle body clean and gasket, fresh valve cover gasket / spark plug gaskets. That lower bracket bolt on the metal pesky heater hose tube is a...

My rust is pretty significant on the roof. Not insane but I’m gonna have to cut some decent holes out. I’m sure I’ll need to do a lot of practice runs but imma give it a shot. My girlfriend’s dad does auto body paint so he offered a cheap single stage respray if I help prep. Might as well just...

Couple interior mods before I attempt to drop the headliner and while I’m waiting for my welder. CarPlay and some weather tech mats up front. Both nice to have.

That color looks great. I wouldn’t mind having a 200 also lol. I enjoy tinkering on it for maintenance, just like to feel like I’m checking things off the list and not keep finding other problems lol. Just had a front pinion seal start leaking and it’s been sitting for weeks.

Looks like I’ll be needing a welder. If you have an oem roof rack check for rust.

Fender flares are off for now. Trying to decide if i'll leave them off or repaint them white. I was ripping off the rear door ones, until i got bump stop extensions, but i was'nt too crazy for the rattle can black on them before.

My other poor financial decision: 1994 FZJ80 land cruiser

I have a 2013 second gen Tacoma trd off-road that I've spent too much money on over the years and built it to a great little all around truck. Couldn't shake the dream of owning an 80's series Land Cruiser the more i learned about them. Ended up selling my practical daily driver sedan to...

1994 ac compressor torque specs help

New here. Been doing a bunch of maintenance on my 80 and finally got around to the ac. Replaced my compressor, pulley and filter drier. Got everything snugged up but I was hoping to find torque specs before I try and pull vacuum and recharge it. I don’t wanna fork the 150 over for a service...
