I’ve done a few boats with seadek and similar non brand names. One thing I can tell you is it stretches easily when the backing paper is taken off so going slow on the lay down helps. And in all cases, I’ve used contact cement to adhere, regardless of being self adhering or not. But I see no...
Well I’m apparently only the 4th to experience this. Similarly, only going up hill but while driving forward would it pop out. Very random, nothing else to really go on
Hey I’m just curious as I have this same drivetrain to grab for $600 from a very generous family friend lol, what sort of mpg’s did you average with that setup? TIA
5.25” delta. These medium-heavy (2723’s) 3/4” lift rear coils have lifted far more than 3/4” though lol! Think we may need to swap em for the 2722’s bc my wife can’t stand the ass up look and neither can I. We’re about 1-5/8” higher in back than front. Ran the 2” 2702’s Up front
Edit: eimkeith...
@eimkeith I realize you’re probably in the mountains already but looking for any updates on your PCK for 200 series. Just lifted my wife’s rig and definitely needs it. Been needing it for my 80 series too and will be ordering your kit immediately. I really dig your offerings and write ups!
I just turned 253k yesterday. I can only do about 72 on the interstate, on a good day, without it constantly surging and losing power. Some days I can only do 60-65. And supposedly it’s been rebuilt twice by 2 PO’s. It’s just time for a better power plant, especially with how hard it’s become to...
Haha! Yeah I’m with you on the 1/4 miles! But this 3FE is so underpowered it’s a pita dealing with traffic and highway runs, and right now I’m averaging 9-10 mpg at best. I just want to be able to get into traffic without getting rear-ended, and to improve mpg. Thanks for the feedback!
Finally got around to installing the dual swing arm and tire carrier kit on my 4x4labs rear bumper. Also peeled all the raptor lining off the bumper and painted that and swing arm assemblies flat black to match (no pics of that yet). So now I can also finally use my trasharoo lol. Hoping this...
offroadvegan I have a low mileage drivetrain identical to yours available, 2010 I think.
How do you like the 4L80E? If you could do it over again, would you go 6 or 8?
What kind of mileage are you now getting since the swap? How are you geared? (i'm running 4.88's with 3FE currently)
Any...
Fab'd up some new 1/4" steel risers to then install new 8.5" LED Colight Laser lights, rewired the entire harness with 10/2 marine grade wiring and 25A waterproof inline fuse, cleaned and repainted all my shackles. Also changed out my AC Vent shims ;)
