Panhard drop bracket option? (2 Viewers)

Truck has had another 1" of body lift since this (and the tyre corrected which the fitter mounted wrong way lol).

But you can see the 3" or so correction on RH side. Truck handles fantastically as well, better than you would think possible for a 3-4" rear lift on 33" MTs. The Eibachs are something to do with that though.

I'm fact the rear frame looks very similar to the LC (if opposite side). Think I may just go and measure up the frame fitments for comparison tomorrow...

Really? What's wrong with them (you mean surf platform or LC200?).

I know an axle side bracket is meant to be better for raising roll centre, but honestly a bolt in drop bracket is such an easy solution. And works great (so far).

Surf is a 94 will find a pic

S

Yeah, I'm hesitant to lower the rear roll center on vehicles that are already top-heavy (and become worse when weight is added to the top and rear.)
Thanks for the rear pic - those axles are a bit of a pickle to design for, but I think I've got a decent axle-side solution in the sketchbook - just need to get a real-life example to start prototyping on. :)

Just checked out the site @eimkeith and those lower link guards look awesome! How are you guys coming along with on the 2hundo guards and PCKs? Thanks again!

thanks so much! I've got 100 and 200 lower link mounts sitting on my desk - gonna nail these! (I didn't realize I could buy the frame mounts new from Toyota when I did all the other LLS versions - game changer!)

@eimkeith I'd love to put my name on the list for the 200-series lower link mounts, please. Thank you!

@eimkeith I realize you’re probably in the mountains already but looking for any updates on your PCK for 200 series. Just lifted my wife’s rig and definitely needs it. Been needing it for my 80 series too and will be ordering your kit immediately. I really dig your offerings and write ups!

I did a more aggressive AHC lift to about 1.25" in the rear. I didn't expect this with such a mild lift, but I can definitely feel more lateral movement in the rear with the panhand angles. Probably not worth correcting, and a kit like this wouldn't have the right hole positions to support such a mild lift. But definitely can appreciate the need for such a thing for larger lifts.

Would love to see this brought forward for the community.

Thanks! What's the height difference between the two ends of the panhard bar now? (I'm finalizing the hole positions)

Same question for you - what's the delta between the two ends of the panhard? If I can catch the mild setups with the same bracket, I'll be properly stoked. :)

Also, can someone verify the bolt diameter on the 200 for me? I have it as a 14mm in my file, but I bet it's an 18? (nowhere near a 200 this week to check myself)

I'll be a buyer when these are ready.

Measuring from level ground. Chassis side 20.5" - axle side 17.75", or 2.75" delta.

Inconsequential but threw in a angle gauge - 3.4* on the panhard.

I'm lifted about 1.25" in the rear so stock would have had a ~1.5" delta.

You probably know this but for the sake of discussion, making the panhard completely level at rest is not the goal. Rather it is to maximize bump travel, in the travel range most used on road, with minimal sagitta (lateral motion).

5.25” delta. These medium-heavy (2723’s) 3/4” lift rear coils have lifted far more than 3/4” though lol! Think we may need to swap em for the 2722’s bc my wife can’t stand the ass up look and neither can I. We’re about 1-5/8” higher in back than front. Ran the 2” 2702’s Up front

Edit: eimkeith, if I also run your RAM’s on my 80, then I should not need any other caster correction plate type kit, correct? I currently have drop brackets but they hang too low and I’d like to move the front axle up a bit. TIA

@eimkeith any word on when the bracket will be ready for the 200, definitely awaiting patiently lol

well, hubris got me on this one - I made an assumption I shouldn't have and my bracket is perfect - but leans over a couple of degrees. That's entirely on me - I assumed something I shouldn't have.
Good news (In retrospect) is that it's a minor fix, but I have to get the 200 back in and level and true it to get the correction measurement.

Bear with me - I'm on it.

Appreciate the focus on getting it right. I'll certainly be in when they are ready.

Man, I appreciate that - I goof; but my goal is to release great product, so I'll punt if needed. :)

This is just a tweak, I swear, lol

Glad to know you are getting closer.
