Lol, ive never gotten more than 14 and had 2 different engines in mine. Anyone who says they get more i often don't believe. Horrible on gas.
Also Spark Plug gaps are a great work around for pesky O2 sensor problems.
The only conveniently placed thing on the LX470 that I have found during repairs so far are ash trays. The alternator placement is frustrating. So far I have replaced timing belt, water pump, boots, coils, steering rack, and now the alternator. On the positive my alternator made it to 196k, lol.
Not risky at all. Im not 100% but I believe the 90K service is a couple thousand. Negotiate for a drop in price and do it yourself, or negotiate them to have it done. Thats what I did, wanted the water pump and timing belt changed as the final part of the deal, after i got the price down and...
