got around to cutting it open. I don’t know if there’s an easy way, but I decided to do the hard way apparently. Looks pretty dirty. It’ll be good peace of mind.
I haven’tcut it open yet, but it has some pretty dirty gas coming out so I’m guessing it looks dirty inside. I haven’t gone for a drive yet so we’ll see.
Oh yea I forgot that apparently I grabbed the wrong motors somehow and had to grind a flat side onto the output shaft to get the worm gear back on. That was an unnecessary step that slowed me down. There quite a few cuss words used in finagling that yellow clip though.
Meant to ask, the tensioner pulley is starting to go on the 100 so I bought a replacement but apparently the tensioner arm has been replaced with a non OEM with a slightly larger pulley. Think it’d be alright to have a smaller pulley that what’s installed as long as it still keeps good tension...
