    FJ60 Holley Sniper Conversion

Yup, I've felt the pain. I think the worst part for me was that I thought I solved it a few times, only to have the issue pop back up. But you're right: once you get it fixed and it runs well, there's no better feeling that going and out firing up your truck and hearing that healthy...

    FJ60 Holley Sniper Conversion

Yeah, there is a good bit involved to getting the setup right. I can say for anyone in the Southeast, the guys @Trollhole are the real deal.

    FJ60 Holley Sniper Conversion

Glad you figured it out. I had the same feeling tracing down a surging idle issue on mine, but sadly the new O2 sensor wasn’t the only problem. Because I was limited on time and had a new baby, I had paid a mechanic to install it on the side and it turns out he did a bad job (never again -...

Recommendations for someone to tune a Sniper

Agreed, I hear they are the best around. That kind of busy is a good problem to have. Good idea on Cars and Coffee!

Recommendations for someone to tune a Sniper

I've heard great things about them and reached out in the past for a different project, but struggled to get a response to keep the conversation going. I ended up doing a lot of work myself and sourcing some other help to keep the project moving forward. I can certainly try again.

Recommendations for someone to tune a Sniper

Howdy, everyone. I have a Sniper EFI setup on my '85 FJ60 and I believe I'm having some problems with the tune. Any recommendations in the upstate? There are a few places I've found who can do it remotely, but I'd prefer to work with someone who can drive it to understand the symptoms and results.

    Hidden winch mount plate?

So clean. What did you use for the fairlead cover? Also, how did you wire up your controls?

    Hidden winch mount plate?

Ah, I misinterpreted your original post. I thought you had moved it up into the engine bay. Makes sense now, thanks.

    Hidden winch mount plate?

Nice job on this. Do you happen to have pictures of how and where you mounted the controller under the hood?

For Sale / Wanted To Buy

Does anyone need a brand new, full walnut trim kit? I bought one from wooddash.com thinking I'd replace it in the '96 I'm bringing back to life, but after removing all the old stuff, I really like the clean look without the wooden trim. I have to pay shipping to return it, so figured I'd see...

I'm at my wit's end...power seat is loosey goosey

Confirming what @dbmaxpayne posted. On some seats (like the driver side in my '96), you might have to both fix the washers and slightly angle the brackets to completely eliminate play, but you should start by investigating the washers to eliminate risk of gears wearing too quickly. I followed...

    Front Seat Jiggle / Clunk

Got it. If your subconscious randomly retrieves the solution in the shower, report back. It seems like split washers would be the way to do it, but I could be missing something.
