Yes, it was serviced routinely but I do tow, pull out stuck jeeps etc... I took care of it but I didn't just drive around town. It sucks that its failed but it did a good job.
Thats hard to pass up. I'm wondering if I can get my local dealer to match since I would need to get the core back to...
so my LX570 is at 275k and the transmission is ready for retirement. Harsh upshifts, missed downshifts and its no longer predictable. I did the valve body a few years ago along with all of the solenoids. It made the CEL go away and improved it a little but I think it was too late.
Has anyone...
If they are pulling the dash to get to the evaporator core go ahead and replace it. Cheap part, lots of labor. My guess would be they are replacing the ones you get to from under the hood so this wouldn't apply.
If the system was completely evaced it makes sense. They pulled it down to nothing and the compressor won't cycle to pull in refrigerant. Haven't messed with it in a while but you might have to go into techstream or something. Here is a complete list of things you should allow Meineke to...
per L-58-0127-12 There is an ECU reflash to correct 1-2 and 2-1 shifts on the 08-11 LC and LX. Does anyone have the file for reflash? The calibration file is 36008200. If not I will join TIS to get the file. Anyone Ever done a reflash? It mentions a specific battery charger model but I'm...
Yeah how hard has this thing been run?
I had shift solenoid codes on mine, I did not have a refusal to shift past 3rd though. I did have a harsh downshift when accelerating. I replaced my valve body with one that had been tuned and all of the 'big' solenoids. It corrected the issue. I didn't...
Yeah I was thinking about doing them as well. I would rather knock it out when the weather is nice than be forced to do it some other time of the year.
So my cv's with 230k on them are due for a rebuild. Coming to a stop or accelerating from a stop I get a little click and starting to grind a little in tight turns.
I know yota axles are way better than aftermarket but haven't seen parts to rebuild mine. Any sources or do I just need to cough...
ok so on mine I've just gotta get the white part out and then I can use a tool to slide individual wires out the back. Thanks I'll give it a go tomorrow.
This past weekend I replaced everything on the front end of my LX and in the process I damaged the wheel speed sensor wire. Well I quickly ordered one from the Yota dealer. What I failed to do was provide the part number for the LX, the AHC height control sensor on the LX splices into this...
A lot of us on here are in the US and we can't get the diesel here. That said I've had plenty of diesel vehicles and it's normal for it to be a little noisey while the oil gets back to where it goes. What oil are you using in it?
